Spring 2018 Clinical Interprofessional Learning Activities

Make one of your clerkships interprofessional by participating in a Clinical IPE Clerkship in a variety of settings across Maine.

Ongoing training in effective team based opportunities online, in-person training locations TBD.

Ongoing opportunities to participate in nutrition education among low-income populations throughout the state with SNAP-Ed educators.

Apply to participate in an underserved immersion in Central Maine. The immersion will focus on the unique public health and healthcare challenges and strategies of underserved communities, and students will be provided with clinical, population health, and cultural learning activities.

This semester-long training program is an interprofessional opportunity for students to practice in the Mercy Pain Clinic, located in Portland.

Help provide safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse and medications.

Apply to participate in an underserved immersion in Down East, Maine. The immersion will focus on the unique public health and healthcare challenges and strategies of underserved communities, and students will be provided with clinical, population health, and cultural learning activities.
