The University of New England has three distinct campuses that combine to offer students a range of different learning experiences. Our two Maine campuses house our internationally renowned undergraduate, graduate and professional programs, while our campus in Tangier, Morocco is home to an innovative study abroad program.
The Biddeford Campus is located on the banks of the Saco River and the shore of the Atlantic Ocean in Biddeford, Maine. This 540-acre campus is situated 20 miles south of Portland, Maine, and 90 miles north of Boston, Massachusetts.
The Portland Campus is located in a quiet residential area just outside Portland, Maine. Portland is a vibrant city with a metropolitan population of 230,000 people, offering a great variety of entertainment options for our students.
Students at both campuses will find convenient air travel available through Portland's International Airport (Airport Code PWM). Regional and national bus and train service is also available with connections to Boston, Massachusetts' North Station.
Maine provides an abundance of tourist activities that have given it the nickname of "Vacationland." People from all across the country come here to enjoy our many leisure and outdoor activities.
In the summertime, Maine's beach communities draw visitors. In the autumn, the vibrant colors of the changing leaves on the trees attract visitors from all over. In the wintertime, the many ski slopes provide action for snowboarders and downhill enthusiasts.
Our third campus in Tangier, Morocco is housed on the leafy grounds of the American School of Tangier. The campus provides easy access to downtown, the beach and the major cultural activities the city has to offer.
