1st Annual Jim Beaudry Classic The UNE Athletics staff would love for you to return to campus for the inaugural Jim Beaudry Holiday Tournament to honor former longtime SFC and UNE Basketball Coach, Jim Beaudry.
Jim Beaudry HA '01, was the Director of Athletics at St. Francis College for 21 years, and during his tenure coached baseball, men’s soccer, cross country, golf and basketball before it became the University of New England. Jim was inducted in the University of New England's first-ever Hall of Fame class and the following year was inducted into the New England Basketball Hall of Fame in an event held in Rhode Island on the URI Campus.
This year's tournament participants are: Thomas College, University of Maine Presque Isle, Wesleyan University and the University of New England.

8th Annual Men’s and Women’s Alumni Basketball Games Join us on January 26th, 2008 for the 8th Annual Men’s and Women’s Alumni Basketball games at the Campus Center on the University Campus. Come and take the opportunity to meet the new UNE Men’s and Women’s Basketball Coaches respectively, and show them what the spirit of athletics is all about!
10:00 a.m. Men’s Alumni Basketball Game 11:00 a.m. Women’s Alumnae Basketball Game 12:00 noon Complimentary Lunch in the Campus Center's Simard and Pettapiece Multipurpose Rooms 1:00 p.m. Stay and cheer on the varsity teams in their doubleheader versus Anna Maria College
