“Daring to be different”

A series of Abplanalp Library exhibits celebrating the history and spirit of Westbrook Seminary, Westbrook Junior College, and Westbrook College on the occasion of its 175th anniversary.

Throughout its 175 years of history the Westbrook College Campus of the University of New England has seen radical changes in its organization. Through it all, though, it has preserved its spirit of daring to be different; and has met the needs of each generation with realism and a commitment to the rights of the individual student.
