This collection contains 40 letters, postcards, telegrams, V-mail and documents from U.S Army Pvt. Felix Lord, U.S Navy Donald Lord, U.S Navy Fireman First Class Charles Arthur Lord, and U.S Army Pvt. George A. Lord Jr. This collection reflects multiple correspondents and are mailed to and from New York; Guam; the U.S.S. Augusta; Fort Jackson, South Carolina;  Fort Devens, Massachusetts and Newport, Virginia. The collection contains letters that are addressed to a Mr. and Mrs. Reynold (Aunt Beatrice) Anderson of Worcester, Massachusetts. Accompanying the letters are Congressional records, discharge certifications, a Mark I card, letters from recruiters, a classification notice, transfer card and an application for aviation cadet.
