This collection contains 11 letters, photos, V-mail and documents from and about U.S. Army Cpl. Robert Ward, U.S. Army T/5 Harold E. Ward Jr. and U.S. Army Pvt. James L. Ward (created 1942-1945). Pvt. James L. Ward served in Italy. Letters are addressed to a variety of correspondents including a Mrs. Harold Ward of Kennebunk, Maine and Sgt. William D. Van Dusen of Pawling, New York. Accompanying the letters is a Valentine’s Day card, a Navy sailor card and an enlisted man Maine operator’s license.
