This collection contains 35 letters and a postcard to and about Pvt. Paul J. White (created 1945-1946). Letters are from his wife, Mildred. She talks about the struggles of raising their daughter by herself, their poor financial situation and missing him desperately while he is away. Though the war is over, Paul is on a military base assisting the demobilization effort.
