Billing Information

The Student Accounts Office is responsible for preparing and issuing timely and accurate student bills. All billing information including charges, loans, payments, and known scholarships are listed on the bill.

Tuition is billed once each semester. In preparation for the Fall semester, student bills are mailed in June and are due in early August. Spring bills are mailed in early December and are due prior to the start of the Spring semester.

NEW eBilling!

UNE will soon be delivering bills electronically to all undergraduate students. You will receive enrollment instructions via your UNE e-mail address. Students will need to enroll in eBilling. Once enrolled, students are also able to:

• Make credit card or electronic check (ACH) payments
• Review account history
• View and print their bill
• Students can also invite other persons (parents, grandparents, etc.) to receive their bills and make payments on their behalf

Parents, to get an electronic copy of the bill, please make sure your student has invited you to participate!

Up-coming semester schedule:

• Fall 2008 Semester tuition bill mailed  Thursday, June 19, 2008
• Fall 2008 Semester tuition payment is due Friday, August 1, 2008
• Detach and return the top portion of your statement with your payment
• Pay tuition by Friday, August 1, 2008 to avoid a $150.00 late fee

Payments not received by the due date are considered past due. Any balance remaining on the account will be charged a 1% interest service charge monthly.

Forms of Payment

Bills may be paid via mail to the address above, in person at the Student Accounts Office located on each campus, or online using a credit card at the UNE UOnline site.
We accept: cash, checks, money orders, debit/credit Visa, MasterCard, and Discover, 3rd party billing, purchase orders or authorization to bill, and payment plans.

Tuition Worksheet

Included with the fall tuition bill is the Student Account Tuition Worksheet form. Please complete and return the worksheet to the Student Accounts Office by Thursday, July 10, 2008. This worksheet will assist you in calculating the balance due including 3rd party sponsors. Third party sponsors are government agencies, private companies, outside scholarships, payment plans, or loans in process. Some 3rd party sponsors require that UNE bill them for the award. If UNE billing is required, please forward a copy of the award letter along with the payment to UNE at the address above.

Cost Information

For information regarding the cost of attendance for the 2008/2009 academic year, Financial Aid will provide you with all costs and relevant information.
