E-Billing Frequently Asked Questions

Q. How do I sign in for the first time?

A. To reach the E-Billing website, go to  myUNE and click on the E-Billing link that is located in the bottom left hand column on the home page. Be sure that your pop-up blocker is off. New users click on the "Sign Up!" button. You will then be prompted for your last name, student ID number, and the postal zip code. The postal zip code is the same zip code used for mailing your bills. International students, please contact the Student Accounts Office. Make sure you accept the terms and conditions.

Q. Who is the primary payer?

A. The student is always the primary payer. Since the account is in the student's name, legally they are the primary payer. Students need to invite their parents if they wish to have them receive the E-Billing statement directly.

Q. How do I find out my user name or password?

A. On the home page of the E-Billing website, there are two links that you can click to find out your name or password if you forget either one.

Q. How do I invite my parents to access my E-Billing statements and website?

A. After you sign on to E-Billing, click on the tab that says "My Profile". On the right side click on "Invite Other Payer". Fill in the information required and click on the "Invite" button in the bottom right hand corner. You will need to share your PRN# (910XXXXXX) with the person you invite in order for them to sign-in the first time.

Q. If I have trouble, who can I call for technical support?

A. Please call either E-Billing technical support at (888) 844-4753 or the Student Accounts Office at (207) 602-2425 or (207) 221-4265

 Q. How often are statements updated?

A. Statements are only updated monthly when new bills are sent. They are a snapshot in time and as accurate as of the statement date, but don't reflect changes (such as payments or new charges) made after that date. To view current payments and charges, please refer to Uonline.

Q. Where can I see the most current balance on my account?

A. U-Online shows the current balance as of today's date. All students have access to U-Online.

Q. If I make a payment on the E-Billing website, why doesn't it show right away on U-Online?

A. The payment data is downloaded daily, and posted to your account the next day.

Q. How far back do the statements go?

A. Statements will be available for one year.

Q. Can I find the 1098T on the E-Billing website?

A. A copy of your 1098T is available through the U-Online link on the myUNE home page.
