This is an Interprofessional event with medical, dental, nursing, and dental hygienists interested in working with pediatric populations invited. We hope to foster team-based care that is safe, timely and equitable. A growing number of providers recognize the importance of the relationship between oral health and overall health. We can all work together to educate our patients and make appropriate referrals. We want to all advocate early childhood dental visits (by age 1). Interprofessional collaborative practice (ICP) creates optimal patient-centered care.
