Nor’easter Dollars

All undergraduate resident students on both campuses will receive Nor’easter Dollars as part of their meal plan and anyone can open a Nor’easter Dollar Account which can be utilized on or off campus. To open your Nor’easter Dollar Account you would simply make a deposit of $35 or more, and you can increase your balance as often as you like by visiting the Decary Dining Office on the Biddeford Campus or the Alexander Dining Office on the Portland Campus. You may also call Pat Grigware at 207-602-2836 or Trina Gould at 207-602-2369 and they can set this up for you. You’ll never have to worry about not having enough cash in hand to pay for that snack-attack.

Convenience - Nor’easter Dollars may be used to make purchases at the Hang, Windward Café, Alfond Café, Parker Café, Main Dining Rooms on both campuses and at the Off Campus Merchants.
Off Campus Merchants - Bebe’s Burritos & Cantina (Biddeford), D'Angelos Subs (Biddeford), Domino's Pizza (Biddeford), Little Joey's Famous NY Pizza (Biddeford), Panera Bread (Biddeford), Papa John's (Biddeford), Rapid Ray's (Saco), Sea Star Market (Biddeford), Thai Me Restaurant & Sushi Bar (Biddeford), The Run of the Mill ( Saco), Leonardo's Pizza (Portland), Papa John's (Portland) and Wok Inn (Portland).
Security - If you’ve lost cash, it’s gone. If you lose your UNE Nor’easter Dollar Card, it will be voided immediately upon notification with the Security Office x2998.
100% Carry-Over - Nor’easter Dollars Account are good for food purchases the entire academic year with 100% carry-over from the first to the second semester. Funds in the Nor’easter Account not used during the academic year will be carried over to the next academic year.
