Hazardous Waste Minimization Program
What is Hazardous Waste Minimization?
It is the reduction or elimination of hazardous waste at the source of generation by various means including substitution, reduction, completion of reactions, segregation, reuse, and recycling among others.
Purpose
Reduce the generation of hazardous waste, and thereby lowering overall disposal costs and lowering risk to human health and the environment.
