Trisha started her own study abroad experience in high school when she traveled to Germany and Belgium for a summer as a youth ambassador. She continued her interest in international affairs and world cultures in college as a world politics major, minoring in Spanish and Women's Studies. This led to a semester abroad in Quito, Ecuador with Georgetown University and then another semester abroad in the south of Chile with the School for International Training.
Prior to joining UNE, Trisha worked in Washington, D.C., conducting a nation-wide tour for the Brazilian Ambassador to the U.S., as well as leading congressional and business delegations to Latin America. Some of her favorite travel adventures include hiking the Inca Trail in Peru, walking along the Great Wall of China, and spending New Year's Eve in Saigon, Vietnam. Trisha looks forward to helping students embark upon travel adventures of their own.

Sandy has a wealth of knowledge about traveling and living overseas. She spent two years in the Azores, Portugal and learned first hand the value of living in and learning from another culture.
She has traveled extensively throughout the world. Her husband is a commercial airline pilot, so when she's not in the office at UNE, she may be found strolling the streets of Paris, exploring castles in England, mountain biking in Costa Rica, or snorkeling in Mexico.
Following the devastating tsunami in 2004, Sandy traveled to Thailand to work in relief camps, rebuild homes and lay the foundation of a new church. She hopes to share her passion for travel and adventure with the students of UNE.
