Biology/Environmental Studies Internship InformationIncluding Psychobiology and Aquaculture/Aquarium Science. (BIO295, BIO495, ENV295, ENV395, ENV495)
Biology and environment students are encouraged to apply theory and methods in the practical environment of a research facility, government agency, advocacy group, or other organization for part-time or full-time work experience.
Students must apply for the internship course through the internship coordinator (Cynthia Simon). Students are assisted in finding and applying for open internship positions.
Students agree to follow a curriculum guideline as outlined in the Internship syllabus.
This will include the following:

Students will have to arrange for a faculty sponsor to grade their assigned papers. Students are required to perform 40 hours of internship work on-site / 1 hour of college credit (minimum of 3 credits/120 hours).
