Volunteer Position #1: Food Pantry

Position Description: Help sort and distribute emergency food to Portland families

Hunger: Hunger

Number of Volunteers: 4

Project Duration: Year round

Thursday: Thursday

What Hours: 9:30-12:00 and 12:30-3:30

Skills Required: Ability to work with diverse populations, ability to lift up to 35 lbs

Skills Acquired: Better understanding of hunger issues, contact with homeless and needy families

Volunteer Position #2: Teen Center Meals

Position Description: Help prepare, serve and clean up after meals.  We serve approximately 40 homeless youth at each meal.

Number of Volunteers: 2-3 daily

Project Duration: Year round

Position Description: Help prepare, cook, and serve breakfast for 250+ homeless individuals
