Languages at UNE
The Department of English and Language Studies seeks to give students an international perspective through the study of foreign languages.
The department currently offers courses in Spanish, French, and Arabic. These courses combine both traditional language instruction with cultural elements of the respective language.
Additionally, the department partners with the Office of Global Education to periodically offer unique travel-study courses where the class first engages in language and cultural study at UNE and then embarks to a country where the language in question is spoken.
