Exercise and Sport Performance

The Department of Exercise and Sport Performance, located on University of New England's seaside University Campus in Biddeford, Maine, offers two degree programs:

• B.S. in Athletic Training
  The University of New England Athletic Training Education Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE).
  
  
  
• B.S. in Applied Exercise Science
  (Endorsed by the National Strength and Conditioning Association’s Educational Recognition Program)
  
  

These programs are designed to prepare students for their career choice through extensive professional course work and clinical/internship experiences, all within the context of a liberal arts education that emphasizes the values of discovery, creativity, problem-solving, decision-making and critical thinking.
