Minor in History

A student in another department may, with the permission of the Department of History, take a minor within the department upon the completion of 18 credits of course work in the appropriate field. Fields of study may include, but are not limited to, history, political science or philosophy. Students will choose their course of study in consultation with a faculty member in the Department of History. More information.

Pre-Law Emphasis
Students who have an interest in law school should consult with faculty in the department in order to design an appropriate course of study. The pre-law emphasis allows students interested in studying law to receive special advising and to develop a liberal arts program of study appropriate as preparation for admission to law school and success in the legal profession.
