Writing Resource Program

Learning Assistance Services offers writing support to students and faculty in UNE undergraduate and graduate programs. LAS writing instructors and trained peer tutors assist students with various aspects of the writing process (e.g., brainstorming, creating drafts, editing, and revising).

The goal of the LAS writing support program is to assist individuals in developing and improving the written presentation of ideas and information.

LAS writing specialists and tutors focus on assisting students in presenting their work's content clearly. Writing is an active learning process. Therefore, students are expected to maintain control of the paper’s authorship.
