Small Classes

At UNE you have the opportunity to work closely with other students and to interact personally with your instructor.
- You will be in many lecture classes with fewer than 25 students.
- Most upper-level courses in biological sciences include no more
  than 15 students.
- While some introductory couse lecture sections are larger
  (50-60 students), the corresponding lab sections always
  remain small (<25 students).
- Even many of the courses you will take in UNE's core curriculum
  are limited to 25 students. These include courses in the arts,
  humanities, social sciences, psychology, math and literature.
