Outstanding Faculty - James Quinlan was awarded "Club Adviser of the Year" at the University Leadership Awards ceremony April 16th for his contribution to the department's Math Club.
Outstanding Mathematics Students - Kylie Bragdon (Mathematics Education major) and Caryn Howard (Mathematics major) were recognized and awarded as this years outstanding mathematics student awards. Early this year Ms.Howard was also inducted into the Alpha Chi Honor Society
Community Service Award - Justin Buchanan was nominated for the Community Service Award. Justin is the president of Math Club and is very generous with his time volunteering for many charitable events.
Honors Research Presentation - Caryn Howard presented her Honors research on Primes in the Gaussian Integers at the research symposium Friday, May 7th.
