Visiting Scientists and Educators
Overview
The Marine Science Education and Research Center welcomes use of its facilities by visiting scientists, graduate students, and school groups. Possibilities range from short-term use in support of field research or classes to longer-term laboratory space rental for research projects. Summer 2008
Dr. Ed Houde, of the Chesapeake Biological Laboratory, and Dr. John Olney, of the Virginia Institute of Marine Science, spent two weeks at the MSC teaching a graduate level course in Larval Fish Ecology. This joint offering between UNE and the other institutions drew students from around the world.
