The political science program at UNE truly prepared me to succeed in law school by teaching me the fundamentals of political science as well as by instilling a desire to learn and an ability to consider and appreciate diverse viewpoints on complex issues.

The UNE Political Science program challenges students to think critically and helps foster connections between Political Science and other academic disciplines, while maintaining a professional and supportive relationship between faculty and students.

I found that the professors and courses in the Political Science Department both prepared me to work as a professional and as a law student in ways that my other experiences did not and could not.

The political science program at UNE was more than a positive force in my life and my education; it opened my eyes to how the world in which we live really works.

I'm proud of the education I received from the Political Science faculty. And though it's been years since I left the halls of UNE, the professors that taught me so much then are still very much a part of my life. You can't put a price on that kind of unique education.
