Welcome to the Psychology Club at the University of New England. We are open to any Psych majors, minors, or anyone who just has an interest for Psychology. We are in our fourth year, and we are very excited for the events we have planned!
Meeting Time and Place
When: Biweekly on Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m.
Where: Decary 202
Events
Dr. Julie Longua Peterson, Assistant Professor of Psychology, will present on how to apply to graduate school- We will travel to the New England Psychological Association meeting in Fairfield, CT
- We will sponsor pumpkin painting with the kids at UNE’s Harvest Festival
- We will host speaker Beth Alison Maloney, author of “Saving Sammy: A Mother’s Fight to Cure Her Son’s OCD”
- We will sponsor a performance of “You the Man,” a play about dating violence that addresses bystander intervention and prevention!
- We will give out temporary tattoos designed to raise awareness during National Eating Disorder Awareness week
