Psychology is the scientific study of behavior and mental processes. Psychologists seek to understand why people act in certain ways, how they think, how they develop, and how they can lead healthier lives. Psychology also investigates animal behavior, as relevant to aspects of human development, such as learning and memory.

The psychology faculty at the University of New England believes that the best learning takes place by doing.
