Personal Interests

I am extremely involved with Native American events such as powwows and the attending of ceremonies. I typically attend these occasions with my immediate family and extended family. This definitely influences my choices of topics of interest when it comes to conducting research. I have a great interest in research related to Native Americans and addictions. Teaching is definitely my passion. I have worked in various areas related to psychology, such as in hospitals, prisons, clinics and so on and nothing compares to teaching and the classroom atmosphere.
