Student Research Opportunities

There are many research projects, faculty labs, and research centers at the University of New England that engage undergraduate students in research.

Talk to your faculty advisor or individual faculty members about opportunities that may interest you. You can also find out more about faculty members who have student research opportunities through UNE's Faculty Research and Scholarship Directory.

Saco River Estuary Project
A team of UNE faculty and undergraduate students is currently studying the ecology of the Saco River estuary as well as the policies, regulations and economics that influence this portion of the river.

The Sulikowski Research Lab provides undergraduate students with opportunities to conduct research, assisting the director with projects and developing individual projects related to the lab's work.
