During the Applied Sociological Experience, the student will undertake extensive experiential learning. In addition, this experience may expose them to a new culture and new personal experiences.
There are four options to fulfill the Applied Sociological Experience. These include:
| Semester Abroad | |
| Documentary Fieldwork | |
| Extended Internship | |
| Intensive Research Project |
In each category a minimum of nine and a maximum of 16 credit hours must be completed. Credits beyond nine may count toward College of Arts and Sciences elective credits or toward another core requirement.
