Undergraduate Programs
The College of Arts and Sciences offers more than 30 majors through 15 academic departments (listed below), but all of the College’s undergraduate students share in an innovative common learning experience called the Core Curriculum.
The Core Curriculum engages students in the exploration of four college-wide themes from multiple disciplinary perspectives and helps develop important intellectual skills. Students focus on a theme each year: environmental awareness, social and global awareness, critical thinking: human responses to problems and challenges, and citizenship.
