Research Interests/ Scholarship
My research focuses on both self-regulatory processes and how felt-security influences close relationships.  Specifically, my research has looked at how personality differences and available self-regulatory resources influence the effects of daily experiences on mood and health behaviors.  In addition, I have been exploring how feelings of security in close relationships impact decision making, motivations for intimacy, and how people regulate their attachment to close others under conditions of threat.
