Jacqueline Morrill, '07, '08: "My clinical experience was overall the most important part of my professional development. If I did not have such wonderful, patient, intelligent clinical instructors, I would not have become the dental hygienist that I am today. Clinic is where I learned all my skills to start my career and now everyday at work it is my job to continue learning and enhancing my skills to become the best that I can be." Profile.

Jennifer Palmer '06,'07:

"I find that attending a smaller university, the student-to-instructor ratio is a lot smaller and more personal. I enjoyed having an academic relationship with my professors and instructors, and I took comfort in knowing that I can always turn to them for advice and instruction." Profile.

Leanne Doughty '03:

"Since UNE has a relatively small campus, it made it very easy for me to get involved. I have attended various dental conferences and traveled to places I never thought I would. I am able to work at a dental office because all that I have learned at school. The program at UNE is awesome; I don't think I can say enough good things about it." Profile.

Katy Mower '03:

"I like the University of New England because it is a small campus with a lot of personal attention. The teachers are always willing to go above and beyond to make sure that their students are successful and well prepared for their future." Profile.

Kristin Center '02, '03:

"I believe that the wide variety of patients seen in the Dental Hygiene Clinic prepared me well to understand a diverse range of oral problems, social hurdles, language barriers and financial difficulties preventing people from receiving oral health care. The clinic sees many people from many walks of life, and I believe it helps prepare students for many situations that may arise once they graduate and are working with the general public."
