missionIt is the mission of the Health Services Management Program at UNE to provide an integrated undergraduate course of study that prepares individuals for increasingly responsible leadership roles, in a variety of health services organizations.

Curriculum

The curriculum for the Health Services Management program offers the knowledge and skills needed to design and deliver health services, with an emphasis on effective management and leadership. Students are prepared for a wide variety of positions in the health services setting, including general management and specialized careers in insurance companies, health maintenance organizations, hospitals, physician practices, long-term care and rehabilitation facilities, government policy offices, research organizations, and human resource departments. Minor
For those students studying in other majors, in the health professions or in the liberal arts and sciences, a minor in health services management offers the opportunity to develop skills in leadership and management and to study their application to the health care environment. Curriculum.
