Role of the Faculty Program Coordinator

• Coordinate all aspects of the mentoring program
• Work with Dean to develop a Mentoring Advisory Committee
• Meet with Mentoring Advisory committee to
• develop a process for soliciting mentors and mentees
• review applications and pair mentors and mentees
• develop faculty mentoring calendar
• assist director in assigning new pairs when a mentoring relationship isn’t working
• Meet with mentoring pairs as needed to resolve problems
• Organize and lead new mentor orientations
• Report to the Dean on the status of the mentoring program
