Answers to the questions below will help us in pairing mentors and mentees:

1. What goals do you have as a mentee? (For example, strengthening teaching, drawing up a timetable for publishing, networking in your professional field, balancing service to your department with service to the college and university). Mentor/mentee pairs will need to negotiate an actual plan for their partnership.

2. Describe how you would see an "ideal" mentoring relationship. What would the mentor’s responsibilities be? The mentee’s responsibilities?

3. Do you have any particular preferences that you would like us to know about in pairing you with a mentor (e.g. regarding gender, scholarly approach, departmental affiliation, worldview, interpersonal style)? We will keep this information confidential.

4. In a few words, please state your area(s) of scholarship, and the particular approach you use (e.g. survey, laboratory research, field research, qualitative).
