Post  Professional Master's in Occupational Therapy (MSPPOT)

The University of New England's  Post Professional Master's in Occupational Therapy (MSPPOT) is an exciting new advanced program for occupational therapists with a bachelor's degree who want to further their education.

This program lets post-professional students individualize their course of study to focus on their specific interests. Each student works with a Doctoral level faculty member to develop an Individual Learning Plan.  This plan includes the student’s projected course of study and areas of interest for possible research.

Courses include advanced OT content as well as the opportunity to take electives in other areas.

Through collaboration with faculty, each student plans and carries out an original research project, usually pertaining to a clinical question in the student’s work setting.

Afternoon, Evening, On-line Classes
Most classes are held in the late afternoon or evening, with some on line, to allow students to meet their work and family obligations. Students may elect to do the program in two, three or four years, depending on their life needs. UNE OT graduates are awarded 5 credits toward the degree from previous coursework.
