Physical Therapy Program Facilities

The University of New England Physical Therapy Program has state-of-the-art educational facilities, including:

Classrooms/Laboratories furnished with equipment and supplies for adult and pediatric neuromuscular, integumentary, cardiovascular and pulmonary, and musculoskeletal systems instruction and practice.  Laboratories are held in the College of Health Professions "skill labs," which are modeled after clinic and hospital environments, enhancing a student's ability to practice in any health care setting.  The classrooms are equipped with computer and video technology, allowing faculty and students to use multi-media presentations to meet the needs of students' with varying learning needs.  Additionally, there exist several lounge areas on campus allowing students from all programs opportunities to meet and interact in a friendly and comfortable setting.
   
An onsite physical therapy clinic, at which students will apply concepts learned in the classroom, is scheduled to be established in the near future.
   
A full range of outstanding student support services. The University of New England has pride in its ability to meet the needs of a diverse student body.  As such, the University provides a wide range of support services, including counseling, learning assistance office for students with disabilities, state-of-the-art classrooms and laboratories with Window's-based and Macintosh computers, and  library services (e.g. mediated online literature searches, e-books, e-journals, and e-newspapers, data jacks and wireless access for individual laptops, individual and course-related library research instruction).
