Claudine Agcaoili '03, M.S.N.A., who came to UNE after working in the Surgical/Trauma Intensive Care Unit at Denver Health Medical Center, likes the fact that all her professors in the School of Nurse Anesthesia are practicing C.R.N.A.s or physicians. She says her primary clinical training at Boston Medical Center has been an outstanding educational experience. Profile.

Matthew J. Borowski '04, M.S.N.A., who came to the program as a nurse from upstate New York, appreciated the convenience of the program's first-year three-day class schedule and the close interaction with faculty. Profile.

Megan Cassotto '09: "I love the simulation lab at UNE.  The professors provide senarios that may occur in the operating room and Sim-Man responds accordingly.  It was a great way to simulate the operating room experience and how to respond to clinical situations that may arise." Profile

Max Daviault '05, M.S.N.A.: "I enjoyed the front-loaded didactic portion of the program, which adequately prepared me for the fast-paced clinical experience at Eastern Maine Medical (EMMC)."  Profile.

Shane Hill '09:  "I was also excited about the modern facilities (especially the simulator), the integrated interdisciplinary teaching approach, and the complete services and resources availble to UNE students (exercise facility, 24-hour access to a computer lab, and tutoring to name a few). " Profile.

Travis Knapp '04, M.S.N.A,, who came to the School of Nurse Anesthsia as a nurse in the open heart unit at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, N.H., likes the program's small classes and approachable faculty. The faculty's goal, he says, is the students' success. Profile.

Audrey S. LeBourdais '03, M.S.N.A., a practicing nurse of 17 years and mother of four school age children, says that the structure and flexibility of UNE’s master’s in nurse anesthesia program has made it possible for her to pursue her degree, while raising a family. Profile.

Melissa Osborn '08: "Throughout the didactic phase of the nurse anesthesia program, I have been most impressed with the experiences we have received in the simulation lab as well as the world class professors we have had the privilege of studying under. " Profile.
