Student/Alumni Organizations

The School of Social Work has both student and alumni organizations. Click on the links below for more information:

M.S.W Student Organization

M.S.W. Student Organization

imageThe M.S.W. Student Organization (S0) is composed of any interested students in the M.S.W. program. SO provides a vehicle for students to participate in the School' of Social Work’s policies, procedures, and structures.

The SO provides a pathway for SSW students to advocate through our voting power in the School of Social Work’s School Meeting (two student votes) or by participating in the various committees within the School of Social Work, or within the University. It is an arena for asserting students' rights. It is an opportunity to access peer energies to enrich learning. It is a place to have fun with one another.

The SO seeks to foster a sense of community through planned programs of interest to students, such as social events, special speakers, and the graduation social events. We welcome and invite faculty to any of our functions.
