- Co-founded [with the City of Portland] the Maine Race, Class and Health Community Partnership (January 2000).
- Co-hosted "community forum" bringing together community members, health providers, employers, local and state policy makers to discuss health-related issues of mutual concern (October 2000).
- Serve as a technical assistance consultant on behalf of the ME Bureau of Health to the Federal Office of Minority Health's New England Regional Task Force to Eliminate Health Disparities (June 2000 - Present).
- Co-sponsored and co-hosted - "I Make My Home in Maine: Honoring Black & African Heritage in Maine" (September 20-22, 2001).
- Coordinated recruitment of multiculutural "Parent-Community Specialist Team" into RC&H Community Partnership (January, 2002).
- Co-sponsored week long Introduction to Cultural Competency Training Work Shop (June 24 - 28, 2002).
- Hosted [first-ever] multicultural "Town Hall" Gubernatorial Candidates Forum (October 2002).
- Hosted presentation of HRSA Sponsored [satellite downlink] Conference: Cross-Cultural Communication in Health Care - Building Organizational Capacity (June 4, 2003).
- Presented multi-cultural, health disparities panel presentation for College of Health Professions students and faculty, UNE Westbrook College Campus, Portland, ME (Spring 2004).
- Participated as panel representative for a community discussion on: Ethnic and Racial Health Disparities and The Role of State Government, University of Southern Maine, Portland, ME (Spring 2004).
- Maine Health Disparities Workgroup: Co-designer and statewide trainer for collecting ethnic and racial data by health care delivery settings (February 2004 - Present).
- Co-Designed and co-coordinated Annual Course: Cultural Issues In Health & Illness in College of Health Professions [CHP] (Fall 2004).
- Co-designed and coordinated Annual Course: Social Determinants of Health & Health Disparities in College of Health Professions [CHP] (Spring 2005).
- Co-Hosted, with Maine Bureau of Health, the 4th New England Regional Minority Health Conference: Eliminating Health Disparities by 2010 - Assessing Our Impact, Meeting the Challenge Portland, ME (April 10 -12, 2005).
- Serve as technical assistance consultant to the Governor's Office of Health Policy & Finance and ME Bureau of Health in the establishment of a State Office of Minority -Multicultural Health (March 2005 - Present)
