Gifts to support or create College of Osteopathic Medicine (COM) endowed funds yield their benefit forever similar to a permanent savings account. Your tax-deductible donations are carefully invested to provide a reliable source of income to support the stated purpose of the particular endowed fund.
There are numerous existing endowed funds supporting COM, such as the Patricia A. Kelley Endowed Scholarship Fund, the J. Chase Rand Geriatrics Immersion Scholarship Endowed Fund and the COM Endowed Scholarship Fund. New funds can be created with a gift of $25,000 or more to COM endowment.
COM endowed funds can serve many purposes such as providing scholarships to talented and deserving medical students, attracting dedicated senior level faculty through professorships, providing opportunities for student and faculty research, providing students with innovative clinical and academic opportunities, or maintaining our building and classrooms.
