The Primary Care Fall Weekend Update is designed for Allopathic (MDs) and Osteopathic (DOs) Physicians, Physician Assistants, Nurses, Nurse Practitioners and other allied health care providers, who by virtue of their position or interest are involved in primary care.  This Weekend Update is not limited to UNECOM Alumni.  It is open to all health care providers as listed.

The Primary Care Fall Weekend Update is a collaborate effort between The University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine (UNECOM), the UNECOM Alumni Association and the New England Osteopathic Association to offer high quality, affordable primary care Continuing Medical Education(CME) for all physicians, PAs, NPs, and other allied healthcare providers throughout New England to strengthen and improve the primary care knowledge base in our ever changing healthcare environment

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • High Quality CME lectures (2.5 days)
  • Professional networking and social venues
  • Dean's Lecture with Marc Hahn, DO, VP for Health Affairs and Dean of the College of Osteopathic Medicine
  • Annual UNECOM Alumni Meeting, Alumni Founders' Reception and Lobster Bake
  • Alumni from reunion classes 1987, 1992, 1997, 2002 & 2007 will be honored

CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION CREDITS AVAILABLE

Physicians (DO and MD) Accreditation - The University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine (UNECOM) is accredited by both the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) and the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.  UNECOM has designated this activity for 17.5 AOA category 1A credits, 17.5 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditTM  toward the AMA Physician's Recognition Award and 17.5 UNE Contact Hours.  Each attendee should claim only those hours that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.  Approval is currently pending. 

CANCELLATION POLICY

In the event of cancellation, a refund of the registration fee, less a 25% administration fee, may be obtained by written request to the UNECOM Department of Continuing Medical and Professional Education.  .  NO REFUNDS WILL BE MADE AFTER DECIDED DATE.
