Medical Biochemistry

This is a one-semester course designed for individuals with a baccalaureate degree who need first semester biochemistry as a prerequisite to apply for admission to health professions' programs. These may include graduate programs in medicine, veterinary medicine, dental medicine, nursing, physical therapy, and physician assistant.

The typical student will complete the course in approximately 16 weeks.  Students may enroll at any time.  Many students are nontraditional students who have elected an on-line course for it's flexibility.  Therefore, students may complete the course in less than 16 weeks.

Prerequisite(s): One year of College Chemistry including Organic and one semester of College level Biology.
