Online Distance Courses for Pre-Pharmacy Students

These distance courses are designed for students entering pharmacy and other health professions.  The courses incorporate the same subject material as typical on-campus courses but place an emphasis on information relevant to the health professions.  Medical cases and examples are used extensively.

The classes are delivered using the Web, DVDs, or other distance formats.  All course material is on the web or sent through the mail.  The student will need a computer with access to the Internet and might need a DVD player.  Students arrange proctors for distance examination.

Optional Virtual or Distance Laboratories are included for some courses.  Many of these laboratories cover problems encountered by health professions in their practices and are more relevant than traditional labs.  Please see the specific courses for details about the labs.

The New England Association of Schools and Colleges accredits University of New England and these distance courses
