Pediatrics
The Department of Pediatrics is an academic unit of the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. Our mission is:
- Establish the uniqueness and commonality of pediatric primary care.
- Train physicians for holistic care of pediatrics patients in both office and hospital settings.
- Provide a model, vertically-integrated curriculum on continuum of learning based on an adult learning process.
- Engage in scholarly inquiry that contributes to the profession and serves the community.
- Lead by example as a mentoring source for students.
Location
The Department of Pediatrics is located in Stella Maris, Room 123, on the Biddeford Campus.
Our practice facility is University Health Care for Kids, located at 295 Forest Avenue in Portland.
