The Master of Public Health (MPH) degree is a 46-credit graduate program of the University of New England’s College of Osteopathic Medicine that provides education in the disciplines associated with public health.| Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited undergraduate institution or international college or university with a major that is relevant to the student's professional goals. | |

| College-level courses in mathematics and science with a minimum grade of B or satisfactory completion of a graduate level course in mathematics or science. In lieu of college-level courses in either, students may transmit GRE subject test scores in mathematics or science, or GRE quantitative ability score. | |
| Technology Requirements: Students should be comfortable with computers, as well as, possess basic computer skills, i.e., mousing, scrolling, good keyboard/typing and email skills, familiarity with Windows environment (copy/pasting/attaching files, resizing, minimizing). Access to a consistent and reliable internet connection is a must, as well as, an updated computer with audio capability. Courses in the Graduate Programs in Public Health are delivered by Blackboard/WebCT (online format with audio). |
| 1. | Complete the application forms for the Graduate Programs in Public Health and submit to Graduate Admissions, UNE, 716 Stevens Avenue, Porltand, ME 04103. Application deadlines are as follows: Fall - June 1st, Spring - October 1st, and Summer - April 1st. |
| 2. | Submit the non-refundable $40.00 application fee with the form. The fee must be in U.S. funds and may be submitted by check, money order, or cash. |
| 3. | Please include a current professional resume or curriculum vitae. |
| 4. | Arrange to have three references completed and forward to address above (one must be from a supervisor or recent faculty member in Math or Science), substantially addressing the applicant's qualifications for Graduate Public Health study. |
| 5. | Submit official transcripts of all college and post-secondary schools attended. (International students must submit officially evaluated transcripts that have been reviewed by World Education Service in New York City.) |
| 6. | International students must provide an official TOEFL Score of 550 or higher, paper test; 213 or higher, computer; or TOEFL iBT 79 or higher; an official minimum Cambridge Test score at level 6. Also required are official post-secondary transcripts, translated into English (if necessary). It is recommended this evaluation be conducted and sent by World Education Services, Inc., of New York City. These materials must be submitted before the application can be considered for admission. |
