Institutional Compliance
Institutional Compliance
The administration of the University of New England is strongly committed to promoting and supporting employee compliance with all federal, state and regional laws and regulations.
Institutional Compliance
The UNE Institutional Compliance program is intended to provide all employees of UNE with policies, procedures, informational resources and links to training that promote law-abiding and ethical actions in all workplace conduct. This program is also designed to prevent, detect and eliminate regulatory violations, fraud and abuse if they should exist with the University system.
Employee Compliance
Every UNE employee is expected to be familiar with regulatory and ethical conduct responsibilities of their specific position within the UNE system. Employees are expected to satisfy all training requirements related to job responsibilities of a regulatory nature. An employee that witnesses or is aware of unethical or illegal conduct, or actions of fraud or abuse is responsible to report such knowledge to their immediate supervisor, to a UNE compliance officer or to the UNE Chief Compliance Officer through direct contact or by using the Hotline reporting system.
