Greening Your Meetings at UNE

In an effort to reduce its carbon footprint and become more eco-friendly, the University of New England has been busy developing initiatives that benefit the environment.  From the Zipcar program and free shuttle service for commuters, to a stellar recycling program, to green cleaning products and more sustainable conference offerings, UNE consistently strives to introduce new initiatives to its campuses.

The Office of Conference Services is pleased to be involved with this endeavor and is excited to offer green alternatives that will promote more environmentally-friendly events; consequently impacting UNE’s broad goal of improving conservation and sustainability.

At UNE, we believe that holding a greener meeting shouldn’t equate to compromising the comfort of your participants.  Our office is proud to offer a host of options to you, as our client, which will enable you to reduce your carbon footprint and your events’ impact on the environment.
