Norma J. Charette, director, joined the Office of Conference Services in 2005 with a background in Communication with expertise in public relations.  Her years of experience and background in the field of communication helps lead her department to continual best practices approach to Quality Customer Services.  Norma also holds the position of Director, Region 12 (New England and Canadian Provinces area) of the Association of Collegiate Conference and Events Directors International professional organization.  The ACCED-I organization primarily focuses on educating it’s members on best practices approach by the sharing of information on current trends in the event and conference planning industry.

Emily Peterson, conference coordinator, started her journey with the UNE Office of Conference Services in November of 2007 after moving back to her native Southern Maine from Gettysburg, PA. Her broad experience with event planning and conference services and her energy and positive attitude make her the perfect Coordinator to assist you with planning your next meeting, retreat or overnight conference.

Kelly Clough, conference coordinator, came to the Office of Conference Services an intern during the summer of 2007, and was recently hired as Conference Coordinator in March of 2008. With a BA in Communication, Kelly understands the value that listening, attention to detail, and organization have in the planning and execution of any successful event or conference. Her positive attitude and friendly personality make her a pleasure to work with in the coordination of your next event!
