Suzette M. Stines, D.D.S.

Biography

Dr. Stines graduated from the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry in 1981. From there she entered private practice spending 30 years serving the people of  Southeastern North Carolina. Appointed an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Operative Dentistry at UNC in 2005, Dr. Stines taught in the Department of Operative Dentistry.  She served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry at Meharry Medical College from 2011-2013 where she was the Director of Simulation.  Dr. Stines came to UNE in 2013. In addition to her DDS, Dr. Stines holds a Certificate in Applied Biostatistics from the University of Washington School of Public Health.

Dr. Stines is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, The Academy of Computerized Dentistry and the International College of Dentists. She has long had an interest in the integration of technology in dentistry and how it impacts patient care.  She frequently lectures to dental societies and study clubs on digital scanning technology and CEREC technology and is certified by the International Society of Computerized Dentistry.
