Costs for Master of Science/Education Program Students


Listed below are the costs for the 2008/2009 year.   Direct costs are charges that will show up on the student's bill. Please note that the tuition cost is different for students in the web based MSEd Program and for those in the video based MSEd Program.

Direct Costs

MSEd Video based program (students admitted prior to Fall 2007)
Tuition $310 / per credit hour
Materials $ 80 / per course
Technology Fee $65 / per semester
General Service Fee $90, one time fee for new students

Half time enrollment is defined as 3 - 5 credits per semester.
Full time enrollment is based on taking 6 or more credits per semester.
Student enrolled in less than 3 credits per semester are not eligible for federal aid.

 

MSEd Web based program (students admitted Fall 2007 and later)
Tuition  $400 / per credit hour
Technology Fee $65 / per semester
General Service Fee $90, one time fee for new students

Textbooks- $150 per semester is included in the cost of attendance to cover the cost of textbooks.

For students who begin is Session A, awards are based on 6 credits per semester.
For students who begin in Session B, first semester awards are based on 3 credits per semester.  Awards for the following semesters will be based on 6 credits per semester (one course for each session).

Students enrolled in Distance Education Programs are only eligible to receive funding to cover direct costs: tuition and fees, and materials.
